16 Taylor Swift Lyrics That Work Even Better as Pick-Up Lines
After announcing her much-anticipated 10th studio album, Midnights, at the 2022 VMAs, fans of the singer are finally getting ready to hear her new tracks that drop midnight on Oct. 21.

Unlike Swift’s previous two album releases, Folklore and Evermore, which were a total surprise for the fans, Swift has already revealed plenty about what’s to come. Swift shared that the songs are all inspired by “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life,” Entertainment Weekly reported.
As for the track list, all the song titles have been revealed. Song titles include “Lavender Haze,” “Maroon,” “Anti-Hero” and “Snow on the Beach,” featuring none other than Lana Del Rey.
“This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams,” Swift wrote on social media. “The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching — hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves.”
We’re excited for new music, of course, but partly because we’re running out of pick-up lines to use in the clubs because Swift is ideal for getting oh-so romantic. Try some of these out… if you dare.

Tired of waiting
Of course, you have to courageously approach a person with this one. Hopefully they’ll appreciate the irony.
You don’t know me
Confidence or arrogance? Your targeted date will have to be the judge.
Your eyes
Use it sparingly and on a target who either looks like they have a sense of humor or is seeking a soul mate.
Trouble
Bad boys… the world is full of them. Hand this pick-up line out like it’s candy.
Take me somewhere
Cheese factor level: midnight. However, when delivered correctly, this line has a fairly high success rate.
Flawless
Flattery gets you everywhere.
Next to you
While the emotional value of this line can’t be denied, be careful or you’ll come off as a stage-five clinger.
Love story
Who would want to say no to a fairy-tale true love story?
Look at that face
Jonah Hill’s character in Superbad made it clear that some people don’t have any problem being “that mistake.”
Won’t be sleeping
60 percent of the time, it works every time.
Your smile
Your target might think you’re a little high, but then again, who doesn’t like to hear that they have a nice smile?
For worse or better
Be bold and commit and you can’t go wrong.
I know places
The delivery of this line is key. You want them to feel like they’re being wooed, not being sized up by a serial killer.
Wildest dreams
This whimsical line is for all the poets out there. It might be better used in a coffee house than a club.
Bad news
This gruff line is a last-caller. It’s more of a demand than a request.
Blank space
How can you go wrong?
