Rainn Wilson's The Office spin-off has been shelved by bosses at US TV network NBC.
Earlier this year, the comedian shot a pilot episode of The Farm, which centred around his character Dwight Schrute's life away from the office running a beetroot farm and bed and breakfast.
However, Wilson took to his Twitter page to let fans know the project has not been given the greenlight.
"Farm Update: NBC has passed on moving forward with The Farm TV show," he tweeted.
